Five people were injured when a car crashed into parked vehicles and a group of people watching a fire burn through a row of shophouses in Bangkok's Thawi Watthana district late Sunday night. A speeding car veered off the road and into the vehicles, according to Thai media reports. The car hit a pickup truck belonging to rescue workers before crashing into a rescue van and seven motorcycles parked along the footpath. They were given first-aid by rescue workers and taken to hospital for a thorough examination. According to Independent News Network (INN) website, the car that ploughed into the others was another rescue vehicle rushing to help extinguish the fire.
